Shalem College is looking for A Research Assistant To assist with the recruitment of senior faculty in North America

Position Overview

• Title: Research Assistant
• Dates: June – September 2015
• Location: Shalem College, Jerusalem, Israel
• Employment status: Full-time position, fixed term contract

Position and responsibilities

• Selecting faculty by specified criteria
• Hunting for faculty in creative ways with consideration of the institutional requirements
• Creating relevant lists and preparing personal files for potential candidates

Required Qualifications

• Native level English
• Thorough knowledge of North American academia
• Bachelor degree or about to graduate, in the fields of the humanities and social sciences required
• Thoroughness, tidiness, patience and vigour required
• Good judgement and ability to filter out candidates that are not suitable
• Experience in conducting internet research
